Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms

BioCog Monitor (the “Service”) is operated by Hunteinvest(“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What the Service is — and is not

BioCog Monitor is a personal tool for logging and reviewing your own health metrics and medications. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. AI-generated content is informational only, may be inaccurate or incomplete, and must not be relied on for medical decisions. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using it, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

4. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. Provide accurate account information and keep it current.

5. Plans, billing, and cancellation

• Freestores your health data locally on your device and includes core features at no cost. Note that adding a medication still uses a cloud AI look-up of that medication’s name and dose (see section 6 and the Privacy Policy).
• Pro is a paid subscription that adds cloud sync and additional features.
• Billing. Pro is billed through Paddle, our authorized reseller and merchant of record, on a monthly or annual basis. Subscriptions renew automatically each period until cancelled.
• Cancellation. You may cancel anytime; you keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for, after which the app reverts to local-only mode (see the Privacy Policy for data handling).
• Refunds & taxes are handled by Paddle under its buyer terms; applicable taxes may be added at checkout. Contact us at admin@hunteinvest.com for billing questions.

6. AI features

The Service uses a third-party AI provider to generate medication information and summaries. When you add a medication (typed or scanned), on any plan, its name and dose are automatically sent to the cloud AI provider to build an information profile for it, and the resulting general drug profile may be stored in a shared medication reference library without any user-identifying data. This output is generated automatically, may contain errors or omissions, and is not a substitute for professional medical advice. You are responsible for how you use it. See the Privacy Policy for what information is sent to the AI provider.

7. Your data and content

You own the data you enter. You grant us the limited rights needed to store, process, and display it to operate the Service for you. We may use de-identified, aggregated information to improve a shared medication reference library and the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not sell your personal data.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service unlawfully or for anyone else’s data without authorization;
• attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure;
• scrape, resell, or misuse the Service or its AI features (e.g. to build a competing dataset); or
• upload malicious code or infringe others’ rights.

9. Doctor-share links

If you create a read-only share link, you are responsible for who you send it to. The link exposes a snapshot of your summary until it expires or you revoke it. Share it only with people you trust.

10. Intellectual property

The Service — including its software, design, and content (excluding your data) — is owned by us and our licensors and is protected by law. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output will be accurate. The Service is not a substitute for professional medical care.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

14. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service. On termination, the data-handling described in the Privacy Policy applies.

15. Changes to the Service and these Terms

We may modify the Service or these Terms. For material changes to these Terms we will update the “Last updated” date and provide reasonable notice. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Guyana, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
